"In 2009, donor countries committed $100 billion a year by 2020 for climate mitigation in developing countries. In 2022, this commitment remained unfulfilled and the OECD estimates that it will take until the end of 2023 to get to the first $100 billion. While this allocation for mitigation is a start, the more urgent investment commitment adaptation and resilience approaches for emerging markets."
